Gah! What an emotional scene. This is near the end of the movie, when Unico has sacrificed himself to save his friends, and the forest. As Chao cries on Unico, Akuma-kun removes the horn Unico gave him, to give it to Unico in hopes of replacing the horn that was broken in the fight.
I am a sucker for monochrome lighting in cels. I have wanted cels from this sequence forever. I'm sad that the Chao and Unico layers are not included, but at the same time I really love seeing Akuma-kun on his own. The lighting is so nice and soft, and he really stands out against it, clutching the horn and crying. I'm so happy to add this piece to my collection. I really hope I can add more in the future from this scene.
