Van in monochrome blue lighting, from ep. 11 when he and Hitomi are fleeing Astoria via dragon-Escaflowne and are surprise-attacked by Dilandau. Sadly missing the Hitomi layer. Would love to get a replacement made or find a solo Hitomi.
Oversized vertical cel scanned/cropped with a smaller unmatching background. The sequence is interesting as it fades from monochrome to normal color really fast. I think this must have been a transition cel that was filmed with a lower opacity over a normal-colored version of the same cel, as the monochrome of the cel doesn't match the near-normal colors on film.
