Seifer Almasy

Did this costume for AX '04 and I really had a lot of fun with it. I made some neat new friends -- Cameron/Midnight who was Squall and Lynn who was Rinoa. I made other friends too but them especially. I ran around as Seifer for two days and got lots of great compliments so it was definitely worth it.

Seifer Almasy
This was a really great costume. I think the most fun about it was the fact that I got to meet up with a group and hang out with people and generally have fun as a character. I meet Cameron (the Squall I'm with in most pictures) on Friday for the FF8 meet up and we hung out almost the entire day and got to know each other and hang out. It was a lot of fun. He and I also hung out quite a bit with Lynn, one of the many Rinoa's there. :) I think they hung out together even more than I did. ;) Anyway, it was a blast! It's always fun to wear a costume people recognize. :) The jacket was made by Nikki of CygneNoir.net and it fit very nice and looked great. I got tons of compliments on the jacket. :) I made the vest myself from some thixck cotton and bias tape as well as the necklace, which was modified from thrift store jewlery and tin-foil covered cardboard. XD The belt was bought for the costume but it's not even accurate. The pants and shoes/boots I had. I bought leather gloves and removed the inner lining for the costume. The biggest thing was bleaching and dying my hair blond for the part, since I knew no wigs I could find and afford would look as good as a bleaching. :) All in all, I had a great time as Seifer! Now I just want a gunblade! XD
