The Tenth Doctor

This is the tenth Doctor from the long running British sci-fi Doctor Who. He's a Time Lord and can regenerate himself when he dies for up to twelve times. In the past he's been played by a number of different actors. As of July of 2006 David Tennant was the current Doctor, and the Tenth incarnation. I decided to cosplay him.

The Doctor
Hooray for Ten! I've really gotten into Doctor Who over the past few months and decided to do a Doctor Who costume. Ten isn't my favorite Doctor (or even my second favorite Doctor) but I figured I could pull him off fairly convincingly. I comissioned the outfit off a seller on eBay and was less than pleased with some of the results. Still, in the photos it looks all right. I got a wig and fake sideburns for the role, as well as a toy sonic screwdriver like he uses, and the same off-white Converse he wears. All in all, it was a fun costume. Reworn to Animagic 2006, with my girlfriend either as Rose. :) It's a very comfortable costume, and it's exciting because I can change the shirt and tie and have variations. :) I plan to do a blue-suit version for ComicCon 2007, with my girlfriend as Martha.
