Here is Wash! I did his main costume from the movie Serenity as it was actually easier to put together than trying to match the print on his Hawai'ian shirts. I'm not 100% pleased with how this came out, but it's all right, I guess. I ended up having to use fleece to line the cuffs and collar because I couldn't find a ribbed sweater material like he has. That's what bothers me the most. The patches I got were all very acurate to what he actually wears. I even ordered a special reproduction Lyndono one from someone who specializes in patch making, so that was awesome. The shoes are the most expensive part of the costume! They're Puma track shoes and exactly the sort Alan Tudyk wore in the film. They cost a lot, but I wear them to work out now, so they're getting used well. :) I bleached my hair for the part, and bought some pretty cool blue contacts. XD The costume was completed with the ultimate accessor: my girlfriend Em doing the part of Zoe, who is Wash's wife in the show. :D
